The Webster Redevelopment Project is being presented in half-truths by not fully disclosing its entire scope to the residents most impacted by it. They want an ultra-dense population in one city block area with eight 7-story buildings containing 600-750 housing units and a row of townhomes along Kirkham Ave. This would consist of up to 10% of the population of Webster Groves in this small area.
The developer is on a mission to put lipstick on a pig with a media blitz while refusing to recognize the serious environmental impact of the project.
Whether you are for or against development of the Old Webster area, the current proposal is far too big for our community. It will negatively impact the quality of life for everyone in the adjacent and surrounding.areas.
A series of comments and questions from Webster Groves residents on the Old Webster Project including some misperceptions.
